NASPERS SUBSIDIARY, MEDIA24
AND ITS STAFF ARE JOURNALISTIC FRAUDSTERS
Media24
proclaims it is the leading South African publisher.
One
would then assume such a leading organization in the media industry would first
and foremost be a responsible corporate citizen that at all times complies with
the strict codes of ethical reporting as prescribed by the SA Press Council.
One
would equally assume such a leading organization would take a firm stance on
fraud and corruption in general, as Naspers is after all
one of the largest listed company’s on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
How
is it then at all possible that:
1. Media24 editorial and journalist staff
is allowed to take bribes to publish ‘Fake News’ articles?
2. Media24 is doing nothing about the
corrupt practices of its staff?
3. Naspers is doing nothing about these
corrupt practices at its subsidiary Media24?
It
is a common fact that fraud and corruption are endemic in the South African
political and corporate establishments, and Media24 was very quick to react to the BellPottinger; and KPMG; and SAP scandals as well as the continued attention to the Zuma and Gupta scandals.
Yet, Media24 is directly involved in the biggest scandal in South Africa’s history and it is clearly part of the fraud and corruption problem in South Africa, as appose to be part of the solution!
NASPERS, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THE FRAUD AND CORRUPTION PRACTICES AT YOUR SUBSIDIARY, MEDIA24?
Naspers, will you publicly speak out, and take a firm public stance over the fraud; and corruption;
and unethical practices involved in the disappearance of the R1.5 billion GABM
members’ donation to the drought stricken farmers of SA.
